FLIR Night Vision Cameras and Nobeltec Trident – winning Team!
The award winning Nobeltec Trident Timezero Chart software package now gives you full control over the fantastic FLIR M Series Night Vision Cameras. Trident now gives you the ability to Pan, Tilt and zoom the FLIR M series cameras and display a picture-in-picture right on top of your chart display. Identify a target or POI on the chart, click on the object and the FLIR camera will lock onto that object and constantly track it, regardless of the track of your vessel or the movement of the target. Add either the Furuno Navnet 3D Radar or the Nobeltec Insight Radar, and you can even lock onto and track ARPA Targets!
· Think of it! Your approaching a difficult harbour entrance in the dead of night, identify the entrance on the chart, Trident will then lock the FLIR night vision camera onto the entrance giving you as good as day visual of your approach, highlighting any unforeseen obstruction!
· You pick up an AIS Target, not knowing what type of vessel it is, you lock the FLIR camera onto it, and track its movements, giving you the re-assurance that it presents no danger.
· Your worst case scenario! Man-over-board! You can quickly lock the FLIR camera onto the MOB target; the FLIR camera has the ability to track the MOB even in pitch darkness, constantly pinpointing his/her position whilst you instigate retrieval actions.
· Anti Piracy early warning. Unsure of an approaching vessel in un-familiar waters at night? With early detection from Radar, Trident can lock the FLIR Night Vision camera onto a target even if it’s out of visual range, giving you an early warning of Pirate attack, and giving time to take action!
· Security Forces, Border Control, Anti smuggling Patrol. Quickly acquire targets in the dead of night, track their movements, and record their actions for later criminal proceedings.
